Welcome to Grace!

Grace sits at the corner of a busy intersection. I like to think that Grace Lutheran is a little bit like the corner our church resides: active, moving and open to the community.

We believe that all people and all voices matter because everybody is a beloved child of God, bringing unique gifts and insights into our world. Bring your questions, your curiosity, your doubts, your struggles, your insights and wonders, as we grow in our understanding of God and what God is up to in the world. We hope that you will experience the presence of God, that you will connect with other people, so that together we might be transformed by the power of God’s Spirit to care for our neighbor and for all of God’s creation.

There are many ways for you to experience life at Grace. No matter what age you are, birth to 101, there is a place for you here.

At Grace, we read the Bible and preach about real life and how to live as people of faith in a complicated and confusing world. We interpret the Bible through the lens of Jesus, who teaches us that the greatest commandment is to love God by loving our neighbor. God walks with us through the ups and downs of life, consistently inviting us to live our faith outside the walls of the church and extending care and hospitality toward our neighbor.

Grace is more than the name of our church, or a sign on the corner, it is a way we live, where we encounter each other with love and compassion. We say we are sorry. We forgive and we try again.  We believe that this is how God works: by transforming our hearts, our minds, our spirits, and our lives.

Come, you are invited to experience grace!
