Q: What do you love about faith formation?
A: Growing up my parents used to tease me with sing-songy phrases about lifelong learning. This instilled in me curiosity. I believe we should never stop learning and encouraging others to grow in faith! Jesus reminds us to let the little children come, and to have a child-like faith.
Our little ones are great examples of how to live lives of wonder,curiosity, and love. By listening and learning with all in our community, together we will begin to discover what God is up to among us!
Maria began her ministry at Grace in the fall of 2019, while finishing her Masters of Divinity at Luther Seminary in St. Paul and following God’s call for her to ordained pastoral ministry! Maria grew up in Faribault, MN where her love of all things church and musical theatre began. She continues to sing, dance, and act any chance she gets when she is not ministering to the people of Grace! Maria is devoted to the children and families at Grace, ensuring that young and old alike worship, serve, and live together reflecting a more diverse view of the kin-dom of God. For fun, Maria enjoys running, drinking beer, and laughing with friends!
