We invite all who are hungry for God’s grace to the communion table.  You do not need to be Lutheran or a member to participate.  We hold Holy Communion instruction yearly in the spring and encourage children in 3rd grade to attend. First Communion celebration typically happens on Maundy Thursday of Holy Week.  

First Communion instruction: Kids and their adults meet to learn about God’s generosity, God’s abundance, and also how Holy Communion fills us with God’s Spirit and sends us out to serve.  

Kids have an opportunity to make chalices in commemoration of their First Communion and also participate in worship as leaders at the communion table.
