Children’s ministry is excited you are registering your child(ren) for 2023-2024 Sunday School. We have already started planning and preparing for Sunday School to start September 24th. Please join us September 10th for Rally Sunday, come worship and following worship join in fellowship, learning, and play for all ages! September 17th is God’s Work, Our Hands Sunday- there will be one worship at 9:00 and service projects for the whole family!
At Baptism, both you and the church made a commitment to raise your child in faith. Together we are continuing this journey as you enroll your child in Sunday School. We look forward to teaching your child(ren) GOD LOVES THEM.
Our curriculum this year follows the narrative lectionary. This means your child will learn the same lessons in Sunday School as you hear in worship! This makes having faith conversations at home easy, fun and meaningful! Please register by clicking the Registration button above.
We are always learning and growing at GRACE! This year we are excited about our multi-grade level approach to Sunday School. Children will begin in worship and after the children’s message they will be excused to Sunday School. They will begin in a large group for their lesson and break into smaller groups for games, crafts, and conversations. We will have a couple of main Sunday School teachers at each service and many youth volunteers. We will also be utilizing parent volunteers each week. As a part of this registration you (as a parent or guardian) will need to sign up (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/904094CADAB28A2FF2-sunday) for two different weekends to serve in Sunday School. Additionally all volunteers in children’s ministry must have an active background check. This ensures our commitment to the safety of our kids. Attached to this registration is a permission form for us to run your background check. Please fill out the form and return to the church office or email to . The cost of a background check is $40. Each background check is an investment into the ministry of our children. If you would like to offset this expense for the ministry of Grace you can give an offering to our General Ministry Operations. Thank you!
