Devotion Discussion Questions Post-Video:
- When you think of the color green what specific words come to mind for you? When has green been especially significant to you?
- What grey have you moved through recently? How has God encouraged you, perhaps through others, and brought you through grey? How can we collectively discover better green paths?
- Replace each petition in Matthew 5:1-12 that begins with “blessed” with “arise and walk forth”. “Blessed are the poor in spirt, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.” Matt 5:3 becomes “Arise and walk forth, you poor in spirit, for the kingdom of heaven is yours.” Allow this to grace you, to settle in, as you read the petitions, as this way is more personal, directed to each of us. Explain how this may move or empower you from passive third-person statements, to a more passionate call to press on with Christ.
