Please join our all-church effort this August as we reach out and provide support for two specific needs in our local community.
As you leave church during the last few weeks of August, you will walk through the narthex and have a chance to “GRAB 2” opportunities from the chalk boards – that is 1 envelope and 1 sticky note (1+1 = 2)
- A ‘numbered envelope’ to financially support HOPE 4 Youth
A new 12-unit HOPE Place will open in Coon Rapids this November, providing safe housing for youth experiencing homelessness – all funds raised in August will support this project.
Envelopes will be numbered from 1 to 100 on this “Wall of Hope.” The number on the outside of the envelope is the dollar amount that you agree to donate; for example Envelope # 19 means you will donate $19 dollars.
- A ‘sticky note’ to provide school supplies for Sand Creek Elementary School.
Items needed are twistable crayons, pencils, colored markers, glue sticks and post-it notes.
You simply take any sticky note, then purchase that item and return it to the church lobby.
PLEASE return all financial donations and school supplies to the bookshelf area in church lobby by Sunday, Sept. 4. Please make checks out to Grace (then we’ll send just one large check to HOPE 4 Youth). IF every envelope is taken and all donations received, our church will send $5,050 to support HOPE Place and countless school supplies to support our Faith & Community Partnership with Sand Creek Elementary.
So we invite everyone to “GRAB 2” this August (1 envelope and 1 sticky note) and watch how wonderfully God’s GRACE will be shared with our local community.
THANKS for loving God and His precious people in this very tangible way this August!

P.S. Please know that you may choose to support just 1 of these opportunities (not 2) and that’s fine too 🙂
