We make a big shift in our preaching this weekend. The fourth week in our mini-series on the book of Acts is actually an introduction and launch pad for a short study of the apostle Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians.
This weekend we go to Acts 18:1-4 where Paul settles in Corinth and sets up a tent making business with Aquila and Priscilla.
He leaves Corinth, and not long after he does he receives word that things have gotten out of hand at the church he started there. People are fighting over a long list of issues. Imagine that, a church fight.
If you would like to dig a little deeper into this letter, I invite you to check out the Bible Study I wrote on 1 Corinthians a few years ago.

I will try to blog about this letter as much as possible over the next few weeks. Please visit the Bible Bookshelf Page in the mean time.
