Join Pastor Steve as we take ONE BIG DAY to learn the ONE BIG STORY of the Bible.
October 11, 2014 | 9am – 3pm (lunch included) | Grace Lutheran Church, Andover
It doesn’t matter if you’ve never read the Bible before, or if you’ve studied it your whole life. This one-day event will lead you through an energetic and creative adventure through the big story of God’s movement in history. We’ll creatively move from the creation stories, to the story of the nation of Israel, to the coming of Jesus, and to the sending of the church. We’ll also see how our stories connect with this big story and how God is calling us all to a promised and preferred future.
We’ll ask some big questions along the way. Questions like:
- What is the Bible?
- Why should we read it?
- Can science and religion go together?
- Why does an ancient story make any difference in the modern world?
Basically, we’ll be asking the big “So What?” question about the Bible.
Invite your friends. This experience will connect with adults and young adults alike. Anyone from sixth grade and older is invited.
