How do you view the world around you? At the beginning of the film, the narrator mentions the hotel that spends hundreds of thousands of dollars on the least efficient light bulbs, since the dim lighting will help hotel visitors feel better about themselves. “The worse the light, the better people look.” It’s easy to go through life in the soft glow of a convenient light. We fear what a harsh light will reveal about us. So we keep our flaws hidden from our friends, our family and even from ourselves. In preparation, please read Romans 8:6.
