Sunday and Wednesday Children’s Programming

Sunday School

Children’s educational opportunity offered during worship on Sundays, Sept. – May. Children (3yo – 5th grade) begin worship and leave after the children’s message. Sunday School is purposely intergenerational. Children learn with others of all ages. Their lesson matches the scripture from the worship service because we believe this is the best way for families to start talking about faith at home! Sunday School follows the Anoka-Hennepin School Calendar. All children’s ministry volunteers are background checked.

Kid's Time

Offered May – August (or when Sunday School is not in sesson), Kid’s Time is less structured, think Sunday School free time, for children (babies – 5th grade) who need a break from worship. As always kids begin in worship and exit after the children’s message. They return to worship before the end of the service. All volunteers 18 years or older who work with children are background checked.

Kids Night Out

K-5th grade faith formation on Wednesday Nights, Sept. – May. Kids play games, learn Bible stories through creative exploration, storytelling, and play. All have the opportunity to connect with one another. Programming is Wednesdays 6:00pm-6:55pm. Families are welcome to join for a meal at 5:30pm and worship at 7:00pm. All volunteers 18 years or older who work with children are background checked.

Nursery

Grace offers a staffed nursery during both Sunday Worship services all year long. We love kids and welcome them to worship (activity bags in the Narthex hall). We also recognize that sometimes kids need to move and play, and parents need a break! Because of this we offer nursery for kids from birth to 5 years old. All volunteers 18 years or older who work with children are background checked.
